Early Childhood Yoga
Teaching yoga to children is such a wonderful Joy to be able to do on a daily basis. I specialize in teaching early childhood yoga, between the ages of 2-7 yrs old although I've had many 18 month old kiddo's join in the fun! As a former preschool educator with a degree in early childhood education, and a registered children's yoga teacher, I like to combine my knowledge of early childhood development and education and yoga into a fun, creative, empowering and mindful curriculum/program. I developed a curriculum/program called Literacy in Yoga™ it is an early childhood yoga educational development curriculum/program that combines yoga and early childhood education in a fun, creative, empowering and mindful, adventure for children. It focuses on combining literacy and yoga in fun yoga adventures that combine developmentally age appropriate books while helping to develop the domains, language, memory recall, math, and science, in fun ways that children connect with. They also get to enjoy, music, dance, games, and creative and mindful thinking.
