iRest® Yoga Nidra is a combination of traditional yoga nidra and scientific researched based practice. It is the only yoga practice used in the US military for soldiers and veterans dealing with PTSD. The Integrative Restoration Institute is founded by Dr Richard Miller PhD and I'm honored to have trained with him in my Level 2 training and attending The Edmonton Retreat in October 2018 where he and Kirsten Guest lead the retreat. The practice is used by many psychologists, and mental health counselors and workers, throughout the US and the world. I could probably fill up my whole website just on the benefits of this practice, however I encourage people to visit www.irest.org and read about the amazing benefits that this practice can offer everyone. iRest is a tool that may be helpful in dealing with but not limited: PTSD, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and stress.
